Scientists, including our climate models, are storming into San Francisco this December for the American Geophysical Union’s fall meeting. For those of you who are not scientists, this is the world’s largest conference for Earth and space researchers, some 20,000 attend each year. Think science fair for adults.
We’ll present a poster at AGU on the Climate Models calendar. Our session, Climate Literacy: Achieving Widespread Climate Literacy Through Innovative Engagement Strategies, Effective Partnerships and Large-Scale Networks, is Tuesday, December 12 from 1:40-6:00PM in Moscone South.
If you’re at AGU we’d love for you to stop by. Check out the press release from the Earth Institute for more on our presentation and other key meeting events involving Lamont-Doherty and IRI scientists.
